Privacy policy (FADP)

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data-protection provisions (Federal Act on Data Protection, FADP), every person has a right to privacy and to protection against misuse of their personal data. We treat your data as strictly confidential and do not pass it on to third parties for our own advertising or sales purposes. Service providers who are technically necessary process data only to provide the functions described below.

2. Collection and processing of personal data
We process only the personal data – name, address, postcode/town, WhatsApp number, email address and photos of your garden or property that you upload voluntarily – which you send us as part of a quote request by contact form, email or WhatsApp. This data is used solely to prepare your quote and to carry out the job. Please avoid uploading photos that show identifiable people, number plates or confidential documents.
3. Hosting in Switzerland
Our website is operated on secure Swiss servers. When you visit, technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser information may be processed in order to provide and protect the website. The application does not store a permanent copy of uploaded photos on the web server.
4. Retention period
We store your data only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or as required by statutory retention duties. Quote requests and photos that are no longer needed are generally deleted after twelve months at the latest. Accounting records are kept for ten years in accordance with Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
5. Email service and necessary recipients
When you submit the form, your details and photos are sent to us through our email service. Hosting and email providers may, as processors, receive the access that is technically necessary. They may process the data only within the agreed service and the applicable data-protection rules.
6. WhatsApp and external links
WhatsApp opens only when you choose the corresponding link. The terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Limited and Meta then also apply. Processing abroad may take place. You can reach us instead by form or email. GlasRein.ch and IMLU.ch each have their own published privacy policy.
7. Cookies, security and your rights
This website uses no analytics or marketing trackers and does not set cookies itself. Fonts and images are delivered locally. We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, and the published site uses an encrypted connection. Within applicable law you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, and you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). There is no automated decision with legal effect.
